1967 Plymouth GTX Hemi

The gentleman’s muscle car as it was called in 1967. Real hemi GTX with excellent color combination. After talking to the original owner – who lives in Ontario – we were able to establish that the GTX is still sporting it original engine and transmission. There is also a magazine article that recounts the history of this GTX. It has all the distinctive markings or a hemi car – VIN – fender tag and others as well as secondary body stampings; its all there. It also comes with two broadcast sheets.

The 426 Hemi engine in this Belvedere has been rebuilt, by famous engine builder Don McCullum and although we cannot for certain say if the displacement is still 426 c.i. (or more) this car pulls like a freight train. From the outward appearances, however, this Street Hemi “looks factory-stock, right down to the original and correctly coded intake manifold and carburetors. There’s also a 3-inch exhaust system. The 727 torqueflight channels the Hemi’s torque to a 3.23-geared 8:75 differential..

The green paintwork — a respray of the original “GG1” paint code — still looks excellent after a good waxing. The undercarriage is painted body color.

The chassis, suspension, and brake elements have been restored to stock condition. The car is equipped with manual brakes and steering. There are no drivability issues and no vibrations, and the car rolls on BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials mounted on Magnum 500 wheels. The tires show almost all of their tread remaining and the wheels are in very good condition, with no blemishes.
