1970 Dodge Challenger R/T U-Code

Triple green. F4 exterior with green interior and green vinyl top. Numbers matching 440 Magnum engine on this automatic 1970 Dodge Challenger. We acquired this car out of California and it got to us in excellent condition but there were obvious upgrades needed. Adjust the ride height so its not a lowrider anymore, add some real wheels and tires on it – it’s a muscle car and give it sound- it’s a muscle car. Some tuning was necessary as well as making the gauges functional and well as putting a sure grip rear end – open diff really!!! and convert to electronic ignition.

Excellent restoration on this authentic 440 Challenger R/T with the all-important “U” engine code in the VIN and E86 on the fender tag.

The 440 engine in this Challenger appears to have been rebuilt to factory specs. The three speed 727 torqueflight channels the Hemi’s torque to a 8:75 differential.

The F4 paintwork — shows excellent with no visible flaws.

The chassis, suspension, and brake elements have been restored to stock condition. The car is equipped with power brakes and power steering. There are no drivability issues and no vibrations, according and the car rolls on BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on Rallye wheels. The tires show are new the wheels are in very good condition, with no blemishes.
