Real R Code Hemi Charger. This a real-deal, authentic Hemi car with the all-important “R” engine code in the VIN and E74 on the fender tag and all the other distinctive marks of a hemi car. It has received a very high-end OEM restoration and is in excellent show condition. Four years of research and parts gathering preceded the actual restoration. Engine is 1966 not original to the car. The automatic transmission which is original to the car channels the Hemi’s torque to a 8:75 differential.

The Hemi Orange paintwork — a respray of the original EV2 paint code — is in excellent condition and has been color-sanded and buffed. The undercarriage is overspray.

The rotating headlights and the air grabber are functional and all the gauges work.

Inside, this Charger’s white interior is spotless and everything has been restored or replaced. The seat covers, carpet, and headliner show no wear at all and the same goes for the door panels and dash pad.

The chassis, suspension, and brake elements all work fine and the car is equipped with assisted brakes and steering. There are no drivability issues and no vibrations, according and the car rolls on Polyglass tires mounted on Rallye wheels. The tires and wheels are new.

It is a rare Canadian car. Only 63 Hemi Chargers were built in 1971 for the US plus another 12 for Canada.

Went thought a complete OEM restoration and has all the factory markings. Extensive documentation available.
